It May Be Winter in San Diego—But Sunglasses Are Still a Must!

As winters go, San Diego winters are relatively mild. With daytime temperatures routinely in the 60s and 70s, it’s nothing like the winters enjoyed (or not enjoyed) by our brethren in northern states, so there are still plenty of family-friendly activities for active San Diegans to indulge in, many of which take place outdoors.

And as most natives of southern California know, even in January and February, no matter where in the greater San Diego area you go, you WILL be exposed to sun—and lots of it—so you’ll definitely want to wear a hat and some UV-blocking shades to keep your eyes safe, plus put on plenty of sunscreen and stay hydrated. Sunglass and Optical Warehouse can help you find shades that are just right for you and your family outing, including sunglasses from Armani, Bolle, Calvin Klein, Maui Jim, Nike, Oakley, Otis, Persol, Ray-Ban, Rudy Project, and many other top brands.

In the meantime, check out these select events in and around San Diego in the next month:
