SALT OPTICS: Sneak Peek at New Styles and Looks

Sunglass and Optical Warehouse’s inventory of sunglasses, prescription sunglasses, and prescription glasses is one of the largest in the world. We offer more than 60 brands and more than 7,000 frames—from Bolle, Oliver Peoples, Persol, and Gotti, to Oakley, RayBan, Maui Jim, Vera Bradley, and many others.

SALT OPTICS

One of the edgier, higher-end brands of optics and shades we carry is from SALT Optics of Costa Mesa. SALT (which is an acronym for Sea, Air, Land and Timeless) recently announced their first launch for 2018 featuring new styles and looks for both eyeglass and sunglasses frames, including superior Japanese titanium and beta titaniums, high grade acetates from Italy and Japan, and premium polarized sun lenses.

Handcrafted in Japan, SALT glasses are rugged, durable, and are made to fit meticulously. They feature a distinctive, tailored look with clean lines enjoyed by both men and women. Typically, SALT frames employ colors and gradations inspired by nature (in keeping with their name).

NEW RELEASES

The names of the eyeglass collections in SALT’s most recent releases have included “Artie,” “Fran,” “Ian,” “Jeanine,” “June,” “Marty,” “Nigel,” and “Viv.”

The names of SALT’s most recent releases of sunglasses collections have included “Bobbi,” “Dibergi,” “Flekman,” “Fufkin,” “Hesseman,” “Mckean,” “Pettibone,” “Reiner,” “St. Hubbins,”and “Tufnel.”

While the names of some collections indicate the gender of the audience most likely to seek out the particular style—such as “Artie,” “June,” “Nigel,” and “Viv”—the designs offer universal appeal for both men and women based on the color, style, and shape preferences of wearers. When it comes to SALT, there is not just one right style for men or for women—it’s all individual preference.

We could describe the styles, but it’s often better to peek at some SALT looks and decide for yourself which you like best, whether you’re looking for eyeglasses, sunglasses or both.
